| Global Commercial Credit has contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and local authorities to report a possible fraudulent situation where someone is creating and sending out invoices for commercial credit insurance / bonding insurance and using Global Commercial Credit’s logo.
Victor Sandy, Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Credit stated “we would hope any company that receives an invoice from any company would do its own due diligence to make sure it is a valid item”. He further commented “selling credit insurance is a detailed process with a lot of client contact, so we don’t think there is a risk of any company making payment under this bogus invoicing scheme; however, we also wanted to make sure to put this announcement out as a safe guard”.
